• organic farming: de-industrialize the agriculture industry, moving to more local, non-pesticide, non-chemical food sources of diverse yields and varieties
• renewable technologies: solar panels, wind turbines, bio-gas engines, LED lighting, green roofing, kinetic technology
• green & open source: design & technology firms whose operations are powered exclusively on renewable energies with large communities of contributors, supporters, developers – all in a small carbon footprints
